Eric Jolivet is Associate professor in Management Science at Toulouse School of Management in the Strategy department. He obtained his doctorate from Université Aix-Marseille in 1999, having carried out a comparative study on the innovation strategies of the Nippon Steel Corp. and Usinor-Sacilor groups, at the time two leaders in world steel production. To do so, he spent two years in Japan as a visiting scholar at the University of Tokyo. After a visit to the British consulting group Technopolis, a very active member of the European Commission, he joined the research team at the Ecole des Mines in Paris. At Ecole des Mines, he participated in several European research projects dedicated to the public and private management of Science, Technology and Innovation. Eric Jolivet then joined TSM, initially to develop a master’s degree in innovation management, before taking on responsibility for the executive education department of TSM in 2007.

His current research focuses on the commercialisation of science and technology, and the creation of innovative companies.
