Magali Giraud is Associate professor in Management Science at Toulouse School of Management, specialised in marketing. A graduate of EDHEC Business School, she obtained her doctorate in 2002 at Toulouse 1 University Capitole. She is currently Head of the Master 1 in Marketing programme at TSM.

Her research interests focus on the consumer's purchasing behavior, particularly the problems associated with the process of controlling and losing control of individuals in the store, on the Internet, and more generally in managing their budgets. She is also interested in behaviors of collaborative consumption.
