Research areas

The research themes developed by the team focus on financial markets, corporate finance and financial institutions.

Our research themes

Corporate finance

We analyze the organization and functioning of financial markets as well as their impact on prices and trade. We study how markets perform their missions, i.e. price discovery and liquidity provision. These missions are critical because they determine the usefulness of markets for investors and businesses.

Financial institutions and markets

In short, we study the psychological mechanisms of investors’ decision-making. We analyze the dangers they face, and how markets and institutions can be organized and regulated to protect unsophisticated investors.
