The research themes developed by the team focus on financial markets, corporate finance and financial institutions. .

Our research themes:

Corporate finance:

We analyze the organization and functioning of financial markets as well as their impact on prices and trade. We study how markets perform their missions, i.e. price discovery and liquidity provision. These missions are critical because they determine the usefulness of markets for investors and businesses.

Financial institutions and markets:

We analyze the organization and functioning of financial markets as well as their impact on prices and trade. We study how markets perform their missions, i.e. price discovery and liquidity provision. These missions are critical because they determine the usefulness of markets for investors and businesses. In more, we study the psychological mechanisms of investors’ decision-making. We analyze the dangers they face, and how markets and institutions can be organized and regulated to protect unsophisticated investors.

Scientific special events :

The finance research team presents its research at conferences and seminars as well as publishing in international scientific journals. It also seeks to participate in public debate by way of articles published in French newspapers such as La Tribune and Les Echos. Members of the finance research team also engage in scientific research, collaborating with major institutions such as the Financial Markets Authority, the European Central Bank or Euronext.
